Picking Tulips
Picking Tulips
Paper Size: 5.5” x 8.5”
Printed by hand using oil-based inks, I used mulberry paper for this image—the paper has a wispy, fibrous feel that is slightly translucent. Each sheet of this textured paper is unique, so please allow variation. It is limited edition and every print is signed and numbered. Please allow for ever-so-slight variation from the photographs due to the nature of printing by hand. This print is shipped flat and is not mounted or framed.
All of my artwork begins as a sketch, which is then translated onto linoleum and hand-carved for printing. Most of my work I press by hand with a barren, but a small few are pressed on a linocut printing press.
See the last image for a glimpse at the inking process.
